    Colorvu Acusense Bandwidth Limitations?

Im thinking the DS-7616NI-I2-16P 16 Channel might be a better compromise for me. Reading the specs, it has 160 Mbps on the incoming stream - so double the Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2-8P 8 Channel

    Colorvu Acusense Bandwidth Limitations?

What about the 4MP variant of the ColorVu turrets . How have you found the bandwidth usage when these are dialled up vs the newer 8MP variants? I was looking at the same above NVR for the following cameras :- 1 x DS-2CD2387G2-LU. (8MP) 3 x DS-2CD2347G2-LU (4MP) 2 x DS-2CD2042WD-I (4MP)...

HikVision ANPR Full Snapshot in addition to Plate shot

Thanks. For me, FTP would be pretty easy to pickup files from and forward them on - perhaps from an embedded controller hosting the FTP site and some custom software. An alternative may be if the file can be written straight to the card's SD storage; and then access is via a mount at OS level...

HikVision ANPR Full Snapshot in addition to Plate shot

Hi Can anyone advise whether the Hikvision DS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZS 2MP ANPR or similar will save the "full" snapshot i.e showing the car passing a threshold in addition to the zoomed in shot of just the numberplate. All the demo videos I am finding on YouTube focus on the zoomed in cropped number...
