Hi. I have been looking at the Hikvision data sheets for NVR noise,specifically from the fans and so on . I cannot find any published dB figures for the NVRs. Am I correct in this assumption ? I am considering replacing my DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P - it performs really well but the noise drives...

I have put all noctua fans in the PSU and case and its still noisy. Going to try foam to break up the resonant cavity

Excellent thank you very much for posting that. I was half wondering if you got a separate PoE switch could you depower the 52v supply to get rid of one of the main problems.

I have to say I am unhappy. I've replaced both the trafo and the case fans with Noctuas and its still really noisy. As Paulus says above its definitely a case resonance problem . It MIGHT be worth adding in a temp sensor to only spin the fans over a certain temp.

Hello I have DS-7608NI-K2/8p this is very noisy. Is there a quieter NVR I can buy ( separately am trying to fit quieter fans ) or is there a newer one that lower noise output ? Many thanks
