What can the hikvision licence plate recognition do? I want to be able to put 1 licence number into a setting. If the camera spots that licence number it can notifiy me some how and freez the frame. I also want to log all the licence plate numbers the camera sees with a snapshot. Is this...

cool, face detection is what i need. I was onto mark in chat, he was saying the g2 had face detection and could detect humans and better at false alerts than non acusense.

Can the new Hikvision cameras be setup with facial recognition and then be able to notify me direct from the camera?, without using a HIKVISION dvr.

Hi, Just wondering is it possible when the camera detects a human to get an accusense camera to send an alert (Camera setup / no Hikvision NVR) or is this what acusense does? Im using a different non hikvision NVR. Thanks.
