Where do you check temps and what a normal?

The one thing I do notice is that the fan is loud and rather annoying which sounds like full blast.

It wasnt an FPS problem as much as a speeding up and lagging of the FPS. If it was 15fps constant then it would be fine but it was like 30 then 5 then 30 then 5 in bursts

It seemed better on the PC web portal than the mobile app.

Any idea why the video is slowing down and speeding up when watching the replay of recorded video? Seems to be surging and slowing down with inconsistant frame rate? Any ideas?

Can you advise a camera for the purpose of logging number plates. Someone said that ANPR logging is included in the software for free is that right?

Maybe getting some 4MP Dark Fighter cameras is budget friendly then upgrade one to the 8MP variant when they come out. I can use the 4MP one in a less important location then.

Yes this is the problem with Nest. Its worse at night also. It misses some totally and others it sends the notifications too late. I was planning on putting the alert on the side of the car which is black so only when someone enters that box it sounds an alarm. I was hoping the new cameras...

Do these systems mark when there is an activity so you can easily find the incidents in the recording? What is the best way these systems send you alerts if they spot someone on your property at night for example?

So the turret can be prevented from moving by a set screw so it doesnt move? So there is no real reason to get a dome then other than anti vandal?

Ive just realised the turrets can be manually moved by anyone which makes them no good as they will be mounted too low. So have they resolved the glare issues with domes which can be low and fixed in place?

What do they actually do different or better than the ones you listed previous

How confident are you that the new cameras arrive in may? Is there anything better which is more money available now?

Im amazed that they need to be plugged in to a router given that every device made now has wifi. Im thinking maybe installing the NVR then in the cupboard with the router and putting a small 10" wall monitor on the kitchen wall as a CCTV monitor via HDMI. Any idea if id need a 8gb or 4GB HDD...

Can you confirm the NVR needs Ethernet to a router? or can they work over wifi? Also what NVR would be suitable for my needs? Thanks
