It seems I can't edit my post so adding this here. I wouldn't be using Synology but just a regular nas for storage. Does anyone have details of how this would work? If I am using the reolink app can I view past events stored in the nas? Thanks

I have a hikvison NVR and have been thinking about the reolink poe doorbell to replace my eufy. Good to know I will be able to get it recording on the NVR. If smart functions don't work then I assume you need to use the reolink app to view events. I don't think the doorbell has built in...
