Good news! After upgrading my DS-2CD2545FWD-I to V5.5.80 build 180911 (see Latest HikVision Firmware for EasyIP 3.0 Cameras), Chrome, Opera and other Chromium based browsers now work without any plugin. Safari still does not work, but this is a better option than the long-in-the-tooth Seamonkey.

I updated to Safari 12 (on macOS High Sierra) and have this issue. However, I can't get Chrome to work with my Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IW-DE. I tried configuring stream (h264(+)/h265(+)), if this would make a difference. As far as I can see I am running the latest version: - Firmware Version...
