Removed NVR from Hik-Connect and added back in. All the cameras have now appeared. I do wonder if it gets confused with IP cameras added to the NVR after the NVR has been added to Hik-Connect. Something to watch out for later as have another site to equip.
NVR: DS-7732NI-I4 / 24P Firmware: V4.50.010 build 210322
20 PoE ports in use. 10 cameras on IP.
The IP cameras are connected through a PoE switch to the LAN port. I assume should not be via one of the spare PoE ports?
All cameras are visible in both iVMS-4200 and via web browser. Although...
In Hik-Connect (Android) I can only see 24 cameras from the NVR - 20 from the PoE ports and 4 from manually added IP cameras. The other 6 cameras do not show. Other than adding those cameras manually any idea why they are not accessible via the App considering 4 display OK?
The NVR has 24 x PoE...
Someone suggested "See if Auto Change Stream Type is enabled in ivms 4200 and disable it." but message has been removed. That option (which should be under System Config -> Image or Right Click Group is not present on latest version. If that really is a solution can someone explain where? Thanks.
iVMS-4200 v3.6.0.6 / NVR DS-7732-NI/24P.
Added NVR to iVMS not a problem and online. But whenever I try to use the Remote Configuration option all I get is the attached error regarding HCNetSDK. In all other respects the NVR is working fine and I can access all 30 cameras remotely either in the...
Have just installed 30 cameras connected to a DS-7732NI-I4 / 24P NVR (20 PoE and 10 IP) in a public sector building. All OK. I have done this as a favour so no money involved here.
Now I want to grant access to certain people (with different access rights) to view and/or playback some or all of...
Thanks Phil.
I did read up about that software but was confused as versions I have used before (long time ago) only allowed single access. Assumed that still the case. Will download and see what I can do with it perhaps on the existing IP camera setup I have as they are accessible via port...
Have 3 separate sites with HikVision NVR proposed to be installed with maybe 15 cameras on each. I have used their cameras extensively but always used BlueIris as the hosting server. I'm just fed up with Windows updates constantly changing things so thought a hardcoded firmware based system...
