i had the camera working fine for over a year even though i had initial setting up issues i somehow overcame.
today i swapped to sky fibre and thus had a new fibre hub. although i changed the ssid and wireless password in the routers settings so i had minimal setting up...
it says in the status -65dbm. not sure if that is good.
last couple of days since i reduced the quality of stream 3, it hasnt had any problems. i will report back
not sure if it stays in the router's dhcp, didnt think or know how to check.
i didnt install the new firmware as it was already installed on the outside wall and i had a bit of a nightmare getting it to work with my router so i didnt want to go through that again.

i have the eyespy247 ext+
when it's working it is great, but, almost every day it is offline.
i was told this could be the quality of the streaming being set to too high so i have lowered that. i was recommended to use a timer plug to power it down 1-2 times each day but it still it goes off...
my eyespy247ext+ is great apart from the relatively narrow angle of view.
is there a way to somehow attach an aftermarket lense like wide angle to improve this?
cheers mate. i have been looking at the 247ext. they also do an ext+ but i cant find anywhere to buy it. my router is wireless n as i believe the ext is and it is only 1 floor above where it would be located and about 4 meters in distance. would i only need to drill a hole for the power cable...
i recently had some writing scrawled outside our drive that was more likely just kids but i now want a camera to watch the front.
i want it to be an ip camera for easy internet viewing.
i want to be able to record but wouldnt need too muc storage, i guess SD recording would be fine.
