It's strange they don't have a UK presence? From being on IPcamtalk, they seem to be ahead of Hikvision for features rather than behind. They're certainly the favoured brand on there.

I can't remember for certain, but I think I checked inside the M when I fitted the HDD. It was completely missing the IR side of things - with no IR receiver inside behind the front panel. It's rack mounted (and a pain to get out) or I'd check again to be sure.

The remote doesn't work - I have the 7608NI remote signals programmed into a Logitech remote. I tried it just after getting the M and there's no response. I'll have to take another look at the alarm settings on mine. I normally have the loss of video signal (etc.) set to the audible alarm.

I hate that too. And the audio being muted on Liveview as soon as the screen lock cuts in. I now have to leave mine unlocked or I don't get audio on the HDMI output.

Do you still need to enable that hidden option to skip footage that doesn't have vehicles/ people detected each time you enter Playback? Also, are the fast forward and rewind buttons visible?
