    Looks like it's for one of the cams. Why I'm not sure. Maybe the cable wasn't long enough and that's what they used as a solution.

    If it's like the 2nd one, take a picture of the back of your nvr so we can see what is plugged into what. you can cover the serial number, etc. Also when you tested internet, did you test it using the ethernet cable end that was plugged into the lan ethernet port of the nvr?

    Based on the first post I assume the gateway address is 192.168.1.1 Then I see DHCP enabled so I assume 192.168.1.11 given by it for the nvr. (I would prefer static, but lets not open a can of worms and leave it as is, meaning leave DHCP enabled) johnfitzy recommended changing your preferred...

    I have a door station unit (DS-KD8003-IME1(B)) that was causing a similar problem. I tried all different settings and could not get it resolved. This cam was installed on a newly built house and the homeowner wanted to change out outdoor lamps. They changed the lamps which required new bulbs...

    Is the playback that shows motion events for those cameras recorded after you updated your nvr fw? It appears playback that was recorded prior to the nvr fw update shows the motion events fine on the timeline. Do you have all the same cameras or are those couple cameras different than the rest?
