Contacted support.uk <support.uk@hikvision.com> with my serial number and exported XML file and they set me the reset file so i didn't need to go to an installer.
If I reflash the firmware will it put it back to default user account. Tried looking on the website for firmware but couldn't determine from the part number above which one I'd need.
I’m in the UK and just moved my my inlaws into a bungalow near us and found an active HIK DVR still powered and recording in the loft. There are two external cameras on the building which connect via BNC connectors. Theres also a ethernet cable which is run down to the previous occupiers router...
