Yeah I would bet on it at this point... Horrible release plan and release notes if that's the case. Honestly the same goes for Hik-Connect. They've updated it 7 times within the last month with the same releases notes. However, I've noticed changes in the app different than the release notes...

I'm beginning to think the developers have rewritten some logic for the VCA. Maybe we need to be on the latest camera and NVR FW for these functions to talk properly?

Is there a new thread on this FW? I see that it was released before Christmas and not after. The FW version number is the same that Kyle mentioned that should be released after Christmas. Is this the one Kyle was talking about or is it different because it's designated as ARC? What does ARC mean?

Is this playback on the camera or the nvr?

NVR V5 for me it's been V5.03.020 build 240904

For some cameras, you need to go to the web page of it and enable the VCA function for it first. Edit: Depending on what camera and FW it has, you may also need to reboot the camera.

Hik-Connect 6.7.0 just released. Nothing about the human/vehicle markers in the release notes, but I'm sure they didn't provide everything. Please let us know if it fixes the issue.
