Ah, you mentioned he was "updating" his system, so for some reason I assumed he already had the DS-7608NXI-K1/8P and was just changing cameras... In any case, the DS-7604NXI-K1/4P has the same decoding capability but only 40 Mbps incoming bandwidth... assuming he would like to run the 3 cameras...

Hi @Smoggie89 ... The DS-7608NXI-K1/8P NVR has 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth so it will be fine for 3x8MP smart hybrid G2 cameras... The "2 chan@ 8mp" is decoding capability (it's actually 1 chan@8mp if AI is on)... but that's ok... decoding capability is the number of channels the NVR can...

OK, that was it... I turned off my Ad Blocker for that page and the download link then worked!

Ughhh... I see what you mean... none of the download buttons seem to be working... I tried them on the Global EN site and the USA EN site... nothing downloads? All of these download buttons are not working: I didn't save any of these files I had downloaded... I wonder if anyone else did?

OK, I checked and this "timeline slider not playing issue" was happening for me, hadn't noticed that... Upgraded to latest Hik-connect and as you say it is fixed. I think you were imagining this :) ... I don't think Hik-connect ever did high speed scrubbing... only the NVR console GUI does, I...

If you had one camera with those symptoms, I would say it was a bad camera... but 2 cameras like that it does seem like maybe a firmware issue... ideally, you need someone running the same firmware to help :(

grasping at straws now... Try reformatting the SD card? What "Formatting Type" does the card have? Is the card encrypted? What record schedule are you using? Is overwrite checked?

Howdy... Seems like a hardware issue, but you have two cameras with the same symptoms, so I would check that you are running the latest firmware... assuming you have the "Global EN" region cameras, the latest firmware is: found here: DS-2DE2C400MWG-E If you have the latest firmware already...
