Thanks. Vendor if what? JVC? Are they even in business. If you meant the DVR then it's a modern digital system Exacq (I think), so there's an analog-to-digital converter there. I was just asking about the connectivity and voltage and whatever else is needed for that old analog camera setup.

Yeah, thanks. I'm actually in US by Seattle, WA. And the weather was kinda normal, actually. I did notice that this flickering seems to happen at some random times. Not too often though.

It's a fairly old setup. The camera itself is about 100 yards or so away from the DVR. It's connected via a coax cable that goes into a conduit but I have no idea how they routed it from there on. I also don't have any specks for the camera without opening it. All I can tell is that it's a dome...

I think the best way to ask this question is to show it with the actual video: What do you think is causing these distortions? PS. It's an analog camera.

Interesting observation. The next morning that camera was working just like if nothing had happened. What could be the reason?

Thanks. I'll have to open it in the morning. The problem is that it will be raining .... so will do my best. And no, there's no warranty on it. It's an old analog camera. I'd say over 5 years old for sure. When I open it up tomorrow, I'll write down the specs and post an update.
