That is a completely different model and not a 'VPro' - do not attempt to install the firmware I linked! If HPP shows you the latest version for your model then use only that version. The most likely outcome of attempting to install an incorrect version is that you just get an 'update failed'...

Sometimes you can get away with that. I’ve known spurious recording exceptions and all cameras stopping/restarting recording in the logs. It can go on for a long time before the disk finally fails and lets you know with that annoying beep sequence.

No new iOS version yet - I just checked. However there's a new version of HPP after the same 3 week wait so I'll keep checking. I love on the iOS app store for 'What's new' they seem to list the same things that were listed as new in the previous version or 'fix some bugs' which is little help.

That model is actually a ColorVu but you've illustrated perfectly why I only use-IP (see what I did there - groan). Hikvisions HDTVi range don't have the larger image sensors, better build quality and available parameter adjustment that the IP range have.

I hope not, I've installed quite a few. I can't see how the fan will help much as the reported HDD temperature is only a few degrees Celsius higher without the fan and well within the HDD manufacturers operating limits.

There are a few sources but it seems you already have the latest and that camera doesn't have the feature.

Are you looking in the menu of the camera directly (it can't be seen in the NVR menu)? If so, I guess that the panoramic version does not support AcuSearch as your firmware is recent.
