Real disappointing that Hik has made their best NVR obsolete so quickly. No support just because a new model came out? Bullshit.

Also maybe try disabling any browser extensions, particularly those dealing with video play such as the popular "Disable HTML5 Autoplay" or other similar extensions.

Any word on when Hik is going to publish the new firmware? Still nothing after 5 weeks...

That cam is tripping every minute or so. Something is wrong with your settings. You should revisit your min/max boxes, threshold, etc. I suspect you're not getting all those because either the NVR or the app is overwhelmed with sending so many notifications.

Well there's been a little movement. Three G1's have been added to the firmware update site.

@Phil I'm having trouble finding my firmware. I have eight G1 cameras and neither the U.S. nor the U.K. websites have any G1 firmware that I can find. Current firmware for all eight is 5.6.5 200316 I have seven DS-2CD2347G1-L cameras, and one DS-CD2455FWD-IW. All G1's, but there's no firmware...

@Phil does this update have anything to do with the problems outlined in this article? See paragraph three. There sure aren't a lot of NVR manufacturers and that's one of the devices affected by this new vulnerability...

Just upgraded. No issues here on a Galaxy S21, either on my wifi network or away from home.

Don't use motion detection. Use line crossing and intrusion. Draw your boxes larger than the chickens and you should be good.

Doesn't work in the US either on the NVR. Never tried it in the app and don't use IVMS.
