HIKVISION DVR 4 Pin Power Supply - Which Side Is Negative / Which Side Is Positive?

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago needing to swap the PSU on that same model. You don't actually need to know which pin is which: Cut the 2.5mm off the new supply. Using a test meter set to DC volts check polarity on the cable (a minus indicates your leads are reversed). In a single pair...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

Some further information. I got back to Hikvision support after this latest update to mention that some of the issues remained. As reported: "This is a bit of a pain as it’s necessary to leave the playback tab open permanently (it affects both normal and event playback); as soon as it’s...

That’s how it is - one step every block of 10 for some settings.

That's possibly normal; image settings are 1-100 but you'll find some map to just 10 adjustments.

How can i get that label (human_numeric or human_coordinates) by using ISAPI hikvision or another tools?

I'm maybe looking at something different, the form required all fields to be filled out. Edit: Found it. It was downloading the ISAPI that required all of that information.

How can i get that label (human_numeric or human_coordinates) by using ISAPI hikvision or another tools?

If only it was that simple…. Even when registered you’re faced with a questionnaire wanting full company details, financials, details of the app you’re intending to develop, etc.

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

There are two users on there who are very involved with Dahua support directly such as Andy at Empiretech who supplies OEM versions of Dahua which can use either his own or genuine firmware interchangeably.

    NVR-108MH-C/4P

From a serial number search the latest version is 4.30.080_210331 so not much newer than you currently have. Here is the download link which the Hikvision Hik Partner Pro app supplied: 4.30.080_210331

    NVR-108MH-C/4P

The information you provided was that you have a '(c)' model. As I've said if you have that version it's a K9B2. It's not a case of working through the K74 versions as you can't - they're not compatible. If you want to be 100% sure post the last 9 of the serial number and I'll confirm in the...

Motion Detection 2.0 Ip Camera on Motion Detection 1.0 NVR

Motion detection is on the camera not the NVR. Even if you have an older NVR, you can use an AcuSense camera to only trigger events caused by human and/or vehicle. The processing is done on the camera before sending the event to the NVR. Depending on the model of NVR and how new its firmware...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

That's going to depend on location. I've not used any Dahua kit yet. What I have found is that the model range available through official trade suppliers in the UK seems to be limited. In that regard the available Hikvision models are higher spec with larger sensors.

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

I have the Unifi UDR and had considered that route (though I'm considering moving to the UCG Max). It can be a pain trying to get hold of some of the Unifi kit, it's always out of stock. I've read a little about the AI Port but not enough to pull the plug on the NVR....

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

That was not specifically an I series V4 problem. It was another case of Hikvision making a mistake/change in firmware that affected usability. I made a post on this forum regarding that specific issue several years ago and reported it to Hikvision support, but was told it was an intended...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

Not that I'm aware of. The original V4 M Series firmware was based on the I series so if you need a feature that it had I'd be tempted to downgrade. I've kept mine on 5.04.020 for now but it's probably a waste of time. I can imagine given enough time, firmware bugs will get resolved, but I...

    Hik-Vision forgotten password

FActory resetting won't make a difference unless you've already got access to the menu and can do that. You need a password reset. Usually Hikvision support won't deal with an end user but recently someone reported back that they'd successfully reset their DVR with Hikvison support. You'd...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

I'll try the NVR reboot, I previously rebooted the camera but not the NVR yet. There are users on the ipcamtalk forum that advise a TRIPLE factory reset before and after firmware updates (though they are using Dahua)! Yes and no. I had 6 cams all on 5.7.15. All were working after update to...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

Strange - I've never had it enabled but always had the function working (pre 5.7.15 and before). I'm not sure what's gone on this morning. All of my cameras were on G5 5.7.15 with motion detection markers working after installing the new build to fix the issue. As soon as I've changed one...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

Hmmmm - I take it all back...it was fixed and works with all of my cameras on 5.7.15 (G5). As soon as I updated one camera to 5.7.19 the motion markers are lost again (for that camera) in both Hik-Connect and locally. What a shit show @johnfitzy are yours working, or was that why you were...

    Firmware M Series 5.04.020_241106 Released - Issues/Avoid

'Enable' - required as a minimum 'Enable dynamic analysis' - not needed. It's used to visualise the motion in real time on the web ui or iVMS. 'Detection Target' - needed to differentiate between generic, vehicle, human. I use just 'Human' in the event setup, so if I select the Human filter...
