Ah ok. Maybe specific fix for certain types and hence no version increment. I’m holding out upgrading until 20x7g3 with 4mm are available. (Or newer cam launched by then. Like the easyip 4plus accusense vario focal mini bullets on the global site - only if the sensor was bigger)

Looks like HIK released new firmware for the G3 cams. V5.8.10_250605 No release notes.

Hi @Kyle, do you have plans to stock the 4mm versions of the new G3 mini bullets ? The base plate of of the old 20x7G3 is too big and while the G2H would fit, the comments about the image quality posted at the time put me off. I'm not sure whether the G3 is any step up from the G2H. Maybe the...

Thanks for the running updates. Much appreciated! I guess the Image quality at night was expected to get worse with the smaller sensor in the 8MP model (despite the marketing spiel) .

Use-ip site shows some of the g3 cams already in stock. (Most say contact us for stock levels) I have my eyes on the 2087s to replace my old 2CD2065G1, waiting to see if both 2.8 and 4mm will be available.

Hi, not for me. 5.07.014 with build date 231028 looks odd. all the known v5 NVR versions are from 2024..

true. i only posted as fyi for those wanting latest and (sometimes) greatest. for those not into tinkering, if it ain't broken, dont upgrade..

maybe you could share the research and your findings. given that the i-series is eol of a while and the previous 4.61.x was released in 2022, my guess is most users that still have an i-series NVR already have 4.61 installed. and if you came from a previous lower release, yes, its well known...
