Our difference is the two HDDs. I use the K2 version. I don't know if the chipset is the same K20A9. Yes, this firmware was available till a few days ago also for K2/8P but only for the version 2T, which I suppose had an embedded hikvision hdd of two TB. Good this works for you.

Did you experiment with different DNS settings for both internal and external units? You will not see the result instantly but you can check that after a while. Also try disabling Platform Access and re-enable after a few minutes

If this is about HikConnect v6.10 yes there is also an issue with that. If you select Playback and press quickly the Person or Vehicle, then sometimes this does not give results. Even if you select All again, you will not see green and yellow footage. You must go out of Playback, select again...
