I have a 16 cam system that I have upgraded to hdtvi using the coax in place. I am having trouble getting a 2mp ptz to work. The coax cable is about 60m long with 3 breaks. If I disconnect the last 20m the picture is clear on my tester but connecting the last 20m massively distorts the picture...

I connected the tablet directly to the ip cam rather than through the dvr and it seems to have fixed it.

I have installed an 8 channel nvr but now need more cameras. Are there any reasons why I would not add a 4 channel nvr rather than replace with 16 channel. Will defo not need more than 12 cameras in the future. I presume I would just change the port on the 2nd nvr and register with Hik-Connect?
