Full Screen Monitoring

Hi, Something very basic which I used to do a few years ago…. Making one of the windows show full screen for X amount of seconds when motion was detected. I believe it used to be called ‘Full screen monitoring’!?

My father in law has NVR DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S.

I recall this used to be a very simple function to enable on older NVR’s. Has Hikvision removed this feature, as I can’t find it anywhere!

The user interface has changed a bit on some of the newer NVR models so they might have moved some settings around.

'Full Screen Monitoring' should be possible if you follow the below instructions:

Thank you so much for the reply. I won’t be able to get back to the NVR to check for a couple of weeks, but I’ll certainly try to follow those instructions.

From what I remember, the NVR has a separate ‘event centre’ where all the motion detection seems to be on these new NVR’s. I worked my way through all the ‘linkage actions’ when last on the NVR, there seemed to be everything except for ‘full screen monitoring’. I love the fact that they upgrade NVR’s, but it really does make them hard to navigate! >.<

Unfortunately not! I’ve looked everywhere multiple times, but don’t think the setting exists anymore!

The Alarm output trigger seems to be better than it was originally I have just realised, It actually is a full screen pop out now showing the motion event so better than nothing, May be worth a try if you haven't got this set up.

Hi! That sounds interesting! Is it just a case of enabling ‘Alarm pop-up window’ in the linkage method for the specific channel? Anything else that has to be done? Thanks

Thats it, then on the NVR if you go to the event tab, theres a little checkbox at the top right that says something like “alarm pop up” make sure thats checked too and then reboot and should be good
