I am doing a small residential system which will have 4 x 4mp Acusense cameras. However there is a requirement for the NVR to be in a noise sensitive area and as such I am trying to avoid the usual noisy fans of the HDD NVR models.
I know the SSD E-NVRs are much quieter models, however I have never used one before so was just wondering if anyone else had, and had any feedback? I am looking at the Hikvision DS-E04NI-Q1 1TB model in particular.
I know they are generally less powerful, but I'm wondering if that will really matter with such a small system? It is just the 4 cameras in a residential setup, Acusense only used for line crossing etc as a pose to facial recognition etc. The NVR won't even be connected to a screen as it will all be done via the app, so it is more of a recording unit.
Would be great to hear feedback before I buy! Or alternatively suggestions on other solutions which are quiet!
