Hi, I’ve just purchased a Hikvision ids-7204huhi-k1/4s(B) dvr with firmware version V4.26.010. Build 200923 and I’m having trouble finding latest firmware. Can anybody point me in the right direction please? Thanks Dave

I've had a look online, it looks like the DVR model you have was not made for the UK/EU market (I could only find it on the Hikvision Hong Kong site)

This means it is unlikely we will be able to confirm a UK/EU firmware that will be compatible with this DVR.

From what I can make out, the current firmware you are running is probably quite a recent version for this hardware.

The only way to figure out if there is a newer firmware would be to contact the company that sold you the DVR or Hikvision Support.

It's an older model and the only newer firmware I can find on the portal is 4.26.011 at the link below:

It is UK/EU @Dan I just had a look through my site list on HPP and found one I fitted a few years back (though I try to avoid HDTVi)

Most of Hikvision new HDTVi 5MP cameras use this 3K format so it’s an important update. Without it you’d just get a black screen if you tried to add one of those newer models.

Use your link as that’s the newer build of .011

It's fine. It's the patched version of what I linked - the patch being the 3K camera capability. Hikvision have release a similar patch for most of their older DVRs to add 3K compatibility, even when the models were 'end of life' and no longer receiving regular updates.
