Since installing iVMS4200 Client (3.12.2.3), my Windows 10 startup is interrupted by UAC asking permission to load LocalServiceControl.exe. This slows startup and I would like to know how I can get UAC to ignore \ accept this service and let windows startup without my intervention.

I got fedup with this before and uninstalled iVMS, but I continued to get the UAC message even though the file: LocalServiceControl.exe, no longer existed.

I know your pain. You also need LocalServiceControl active if you view your cameras through a browser. I am on Windows 11, but generally same actions for Windows 10. Anyway, what I did was;

Open Task Manager, goto Startup, right click on LocalServiceControl and select Disable. This will stop it autostarting.

Because I need it for browser access, I added an entry to Task Scheduler instead to autostart it when I log on using privilages which avoids getting the UAC message :-) I've had it this way for a few years now.

Hi - I took your suggestion and it did solve the issue, thanks. I'd forgotten about that option. I had tried using Task Schedular, as you also mention, but it didn't work - I must not have done it properly.
