unable to view cameras on hikvision

1x Hikvision NVRmodel DS-7616NI-Q1

2 x Hikvision 10 port Poe switch Model DS-3E0310P -E/M

6 x Hik poe cctv

Hikvision android Ap V6.8.400.0326


System was working fine, now when I use Hikvision it says the NVR & all cameras are offline, intermittently the NVR is online but never the cameras.

The strange thing is I can access my router remotely and it shows the NVR and all cameras are connected.

I have tried powering everything off and back on again makes no difference

Any ideas what's wrong?

update i found the problem rodent damage to the cable from Poe switch to the NVR (lesson learned cable in conduit now)

Glad you found the problem, all I had was, lb of semtex for the rodent.
On a serious note, was it mice or rats or some other bugs, am putitng some ethernet
cables in an attic of an old building, and am wondering if this is an issue, I can put
the cables in a conduit, but what about bugs getting inside a server that has no fan
so lots of vents in it.
If I put it in a steel box then it migh heat up.
