NEW Firmware_V5.7.23_260114

The new version of HCNetsdk crashes when trying to perform a smart area draw and a Line draw. That's why I tested with the old one.
Anyway, my findings could be wrong, but as trempa92 says, data are accessible with api.

About your settings, I understand that you do not enable Line Crossing, Intrusion, Region Entrance and Region Exiting at all and on a smart search of this kind, you have results. I'll try this and inform again.

Thanks

Hi @RetiredDinosaur

About v5.7.23 firmware.

Unfortunately this setting doesn't work for NXI-K either on GUI 4.0 v4.83.xxx firmware or the new web5.0 v4.84.xxx
The smart search result always returns empty, even for preconfigured alarm events.
Tried by adding on my G5 settings, an alarm server, with ip the one that is occupied by my NXI-K NVR and on port 8000.
The strange thing is that sometimes this seemed to work and gave results for non preconfigured and preconfigured smart events. But most of the time it didn't work. Then after a few minutes, this stopped giving results completely. Added with ONVIF and RTSP, smart search, only for motion, gives back all hundreds of preconfigured and non preconfigured motion events.
Targets also, Smart and motion, are visible on live viewing of the camera through NVR. So this seems that the NVR gets the events but is not recording them for some reason. Possibly the type of my HDDs used. This could be a restriction with newer web5.0 firmwares either NVR or Cameras.

About my previous post for testing, I was wrong. It's a malfunction of HCNetsdk.
Although e.g. if the second camera is selected from device tree, Previewed and search grid is drawn on that camera's image, if there is not set another selection to channel camera 2(which is wrong since channel is one for non POE NVRs), the search, even if draw is on camera 2, gives results for camera 1.
The annoying thing with this procedure is that, whenever the camera is selected on device tree, the channel number returns automatically on channel 1. So everything I mentioned on previous post about the recorded events, is wrong. The events are sent, received since I see them on NVR image, but are not recorded....
