Problem with TCP/IP while connecting my dvr with lan connection

I'm facing problem in connecting my lan to the hikvision dvr. The DHCP given some ip that is not of my router. So pls help me fix this.. If I try typing in the ip, subnet, dns, gateway by myself. It shows message as the gateway is not accessible or something...
