VCA Engine Configuration?

I was just ready to ask you about restoring.
So if I restore I will have to setup again all the other settings in the NVR? Like ntp time, dual vca etc?
You would do the 'Restore to default settings' and not the 'Restore to factory settings'. It should keep your network and user account information. You'll likely have to reprogram everything else.
And after that how you suggest to set them up later?
Just set up your AcuSense camera channels as you want ensuring that on each channel that it's set to 'VCA by Camera' before you start.
Now I have motion detection enabled on all of my cameras 24/7 and I use smart events on almost all of my cameras that are enabled some hours in the day in order to send notifications. So do you suggest starting by setting the motion detection first and after that set the smart events?
It doesn't make any difference which you set up first. I'd just suggest doing your AcuSense cameras first with 'VCA by Camera' and your non AcuSense cameras afterward.

I personally don't bother with any schedules. Events can be scheduled in the NVR and if the linkage is for notifications, they can be separately scheduled in the Hik-Connect app. I just use motion covering a wider area with notifications off combined with smart events covering my property only with notifications on. My NVR and firmware version allow me to combine cameras into areas that can be armed or disarmed individually in Hik-Connect. That may or may not be possible for you depending on your NVR and its latest firmware version.

I restored the NVR but the message was still there. Then i noticed that also the smart events were there in some of my cameras as also the settings of all cameras.
So I decide to restore each camera separately (keeping the network and user settings) and restore again the NVR.
I believe this will reset any of the remaining settings.

I use motion as you do. In the whole camera coverage.
And I use smart events in specific areas, scheduled in some hours of the day with linkage action to notify surveillance center.

Dear @JB1970,
Although I have restore each camera separately from its local IP address as also the NVR, I still have this message in basic events section.
Also I noticed that when I add the cameras in my NVR, the 4 first cameras have the AI by device enabled in smart events!!! I disable it as also all the motion detection and restore my NVR again. When I try to re add them the AI by device is again enabled as also the motion detection in all my cameras.
I cannot understand what is going on and is keeping those settings after all those restores.
Any idea???
