Web based download location

I have a Hikvision 16ch AcuSense NVR DS-7616NXI-K1.

I am trying to dowload a clip with iVMS-4200 3.6.0.6 Client but it freezes during the viewing and download.

I can access the NVR via web browser, view the clip and download it; the problem is that i don't know where the file is being downloaded to.

Can someone please help me find or set the download location?

On a Mac it goes straight into your downloads folder. On Windows it should present a pop up with the location. On mine it went to C:/Users/MyUserName/PluginWeb/Download Files/DateOfDownload (that was using Edge and an M series NVR so it could differ on yours). With iVMS it used to go to C:/Web/DownloadFiles. You should be able to find it relatively easily.

Thanks for your reply. with misrosoft edge it downloads the files to C:\Users\username\PluginWeb\RecordFiles. other browsers behave in the way you describe.
