ColorVu G3 image changes after first night happening on 2 different models

I have recently purchased a couple of DS 2CD2047G3 LI2UY SL and DS 2CD2T47G3 cameras. The first night they are active the night vision colour is nothing short of amazing this is in colour mode with 0 supplemental light set, the rest of the settings I leave as factory default.

After the first night the following nights image goes to a dull dark blue hue I know environmental factors come into play but you never see the bright colourful image again after the first night, this has happened on each camera I have installed x4 cameras , they are connected to a DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S

I can confirm there was 0 supplemental light set on the first night as I did a late night test walk.

I wish I took a picture before and after I am tempted to do a reset and see what happens but wanted to ask if anyone on here has any ideas first ? Could the NVR be pushing a camera setting change ?

Image parameters.
Check if the settings on the camera and the nvr recorder are identical. In particular, check the exposure settings on the dvr and the camera.
