firmware for DS-2CV2Q21G1-IDW

Hello all,

I am trying to find firmware for DS-2CV2Q21G1-IDW I recenly bought. Seems there is nothing available at relevant product and firmware's pages.
Any idea how to find a compatible one, also how to confirm platform?

The only issue I am dealing, that might be related with NVR not with camera, is that it is not visible from DS-7608NXI-K1(D) NVR via external ip. Using the same parameters, I can see that camera using hik-connect app and iVMS 4200.

The DS-2CV camera range was designed to be used exclusively with the Hik-Connect app; firmware versions and updates are managed through the app (you can check your device version and whether an update is needed by visiting the camera settings within Hik-Connect).

We previously managed to add a DS-2CV2141G2-IDW-W to an NVR; however, it had to be hard reset and connected to the network via an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi.

Once the device is connected using an Ethernet cable, it will appear in SADP. You can then activate it, assign a password and IP address, and subsequently add it to an NVR.

I'm not sure how much functionality you'll get with your Pan and Tilt version, as our fixed camera only offered a very basic connection to our NVR when we tested it.

Thanks, so my understanding is that it can not be connected to NVR via internet using an extrernal IP.

As far as we are aware, it would need to be hard-wired into the same LAN as the NVR and have an IP address within that network's range.
